Collectors consist of all stripes, people that genuinely have a love for the purpose they’re collecting, people that just love the chase of with the ability to complete a collection, and those who hope their investment will some day repay. One doesn’t have to be among the many an incredible number of players of World of Warcraft to collect its toys. The younger players though, or the young at heart, often have a difficult time resisting the urge to look at the warcraft action figures of the box. Out of they then, DC Direct has produced the most important line of figures, 25 figures including very exclusive miniatures, through 2009.
Blizzard, the organization behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only produced five miniatures. These are Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.
Toycom has produced 6 miniatures all from Warcraft III. SOTA released only three figures that are: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.
DC Direct released its first compilation of warcraft action figures in 2007. This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, and a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series over the end of 2009.
As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, having a mint toy collection generally is a nice investment. Those not familiar with WoW, but searching for the next “hot” collectible, could consider these wow action figures because WoW is really a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for many subscribers, over 11 million.
